Why add microneedling to your portfolio?
The microneedling course is one of our most popular and well attended. Microneedling has become an increasingly popular treatment recognised by therapists and clients looking for optimal, no downtime, low risk outcomes. It may still be recognised by the term dermaroller but microneedling as a broader term includes automated pen devices, such as Dermapen or Dermafix as well as the original manual dermaroller device.
On this course we cover manual dermaroller, automated pen device, Dermafix, and LED light therapy. You will receive knowledge on all device and have hands on experience with all devices. We encourage you to start working with clients as soon as you possibly can, keeping new skills and learning outcomes fresh in your mind. Comprehensive manuals are supplied on the day, with extra reading material and will make a useful reference tool.
For training purposes we use a range of different needle lengths. The longest needle length is 2mm and recommended for body treatments, ie stretch marks. 1mm needle length is recommended for face treatments. Contact your insurance provider to check the maximum needle length they will cover you for.
Microneedling Kits to get you started
Our microneedling course is generic in origin,
which means you are able to purchase any
microneedling range. During the training we will
use Genosys a complete microneedling product
range. Genosys is South Korean and the best
microneedling range available in the UK if not
globally.
Due to requests we have compiled various starter
kits, which will enable you to fully carry out these treatments, including a limited number of
recommended take home products. These kits are
available to purchase in advance or on the training day. The kits are by no means compulsory and all products and items can be purchased separately. These kits can all be found for review or to purchase on the website.
Certification & CPD
You will receive a certificate on the day once training is completed. Please do let us know well in advance how you would like your name to appear as these certificates are prepared in advance of this course. The certificate will enable you to gain insurance to carry out treatments on you own clients. You may also self-allocate CPD points against the day’s attendance of 5 hours study.
